The 47th Regiment of Foot is an educational organization designed to portray the life and times of the men and women of that unit as they were during the years of the American War for Independence.

 

Our membership, based mainly in Michigan and Illinois, attends re-enactments, encampments, and museum events around our local area and beyond.

 

Our group strives to portray the 47th accurately to help bring the past alive at events and historic sites.  We welcome individuals and families to enjoy their love of history in a unique and productive way.
