TOM M. GIRDLER
TROY H. BROWNING/ THOMAS F. PATTON
CHARLES M. WHITE |
Known as the “Girdler Class”, these ships were converted for lakes use in
1951 from three 1946 built C4-S-A4 ocean cargo ships. These ships were known
for their unprecedented speed but were ultimately doomed due to their small
cargo capacity and high fuel consumption. The detailed drawings are printed
on archival 100# Silk Stock.
All prints are 20” x 10”, custom sizes available upon request.
