Friday, June 30 Engineers Day, Soo Locks
10:00a.m. - 4:00p.m. Group picture at the anchor (large anchor on display) at the lower park at the locks 9:30a.m. River and Locks Cruise, Departing from Soo, Canada aboard the Chief Shingwauk.

Departing the Purvis Marine Dock at 6:30 P.M.
View parade from the American or Canadian Locks, 7:00 - 9:00 P.M..6:30p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Saturday, July 1 Annual International Bridge Walk.
Starts from LSSU Norris Center at 9:00 AM. to Bondar Park. Busses will return you to the U.S. side This is a great opportunity to take pix of the locks, and maybe boat traffic while walking across.
The walk is 3.8 miles according to the Soo Festival Committee and takes about 1-1/2 hours.9:00 a.m. Tug boat race
Best view on the U.S. side from the fishing dock located at the East end of the Edison Soo Hydro Plant.Canadian side view from Bondar Park.
About 12:00 noon Informal meeting at Mission Point. Bring your pictures and any items to trade. After tug boat races (approximately 2:00 p.m.) Other Events June 29, 30, July 1 Fund raiser Pancake Breakfast aboard a barge at the Roberta Bondar Marina. From 7:30 - 10:30 A.M. July 2 - 4 -- Pancake Breakfast aboard a barge next to Museum Ship Valley Camp

On Engineers Day the US Army Corps of Engineers opens the area between the MacArthur and Poe Locks to the public and the ground floor of the Administration Building is open for tours. Engineers day runs from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
