3/8 - Historical Perspectives - William Forsythe

The John A McGean during happier times at the No.10 Dock in Ashtabula, OH. She was to be taken down along with her crew to the bottom of Lake Huron during the Big Storm of 1913.

The "Flying Dutchman" of the Lakes, Bannockburn tows the 4-masted barge Minnedosa into Port Colborne. They were sunk in 1902 and 1905 respectively.

A bumboat lies alongside the Topdasfjord as she loads at Superior, Wi. The Topdasfjord was to collide with and sink the Cedarville in 1965.
