The Morgenstond II of Delfzijl, Netherlands sails by Mariatown with a load of windmill parts destined for Oswego, N.Y. The crew are very careful not to scuff the paint and this is the first time in many years I have seen the wooden fenders hanging over the side. Details of the ship are as follows:
IMO #9367073. Gross Tonnage-8999, Built-2007, flag-Netherlands. Note the break with a tradition that has been in existence for many years. No company colors on the smokestack. Just a cluster of ugly pipes.
