9/15 - Nanticoke in heavy weather - Angus Kennedy
Nanticoke is loading stone in Lower Cove, Newfoundland and transporting it to Deception Bay, Quebec, which is in the Hudson Strait across from Baffin Island. The stone is to be used to fill caissons in the construction of a dock for a mine that is being developed in the area by Extrata Mining Corp. The dock is for the Ragalan Mine of Falcon Bridge (now bought out by Extrata) - Northern Quebec - primarily Nickel some zinc minute traces of silver & gold.

9/15 - USCGC Bristol Bay in Buffalo - Brian Wroblewski



Bristol Bay and her buoy barge tied up to the Visiting Ship's Dock at the Erie Basin (North Pier). The crane is raised high above the deck and lettering on it's boom reads "The Workhorse of the Great Lakes" next to an image of the ship's logo.
