9/20 - Lakes-Built Vessels at New York City - David Bull
While others were enjoying the Welland Canal Boatnerd
Gathering I was in New York city on the Circle Line cruise around
Manhattan. Two lakes built vessels came into view.

Ambassador, built at Port Weller in 1983, on the Hudson River below the
George Washington Bridge. Originally Canadian Ambassador then Ambassador
then Algosea(2), then Ambassador. |

Staten Island ferry Guy V. Molinari built at Marinette in 2004 on her way
from Manhattan to Staten Island. |
