Reserve was extracted from the ice pack, spun around, and towed stern first to Bay Ship as it would be easier to spin her around in open water than attempting to do so in the ice closer to Bay Ship.

Jimmy L. continues to break ice as we proceed down the channel to BayShip.

12/19 - St. Lawrence Seaway Traffic - Ron Beaupre



The tanker Clipper Loyalty is docked at Universal Terminals discharging a cargo of calcium chloride. This dock is 6 miles below Iroquois Lock.


The tug Eileen M Roehrig passes Brockville on December 11 with the barge Houston on the delivery trip from her builders.

The Danish flag salty Scandia is entering the Snell Lock 29 June 1959. Ivan Brookes photo. This ship was sunk by gunfire at Lattakia in 1973. Raised and scrapped at Perama in 1974.
