9/9 - Sturgeon Bay traffic - Scott Best
Friday the Basic Marine tugs Erika Kobasic and the newly refurbished tug Nickelena passed through the Sturgeon Bay Ship canal enroute back to Marinette, after delivering a tow of US Navy INLS barges to the Chicago area. By mid-afternoon were docked in Menominee awaiting the next tow of INLS barges.
