10/3 - Movie being made in Port Dover The ferry Amherst Islander became the Slaughter Beach ferry, for director George Romeros' new zombie movie being filmed in Port Dover this week. His last zombie film, "Night of the living dead" , became a cult classic. The ferry plays a staring role in the movie, along with burning cars, and Lake Erie water and beach scenes. Local filming was scheduled to wrap up Thursday, with the demise of the shack built in the commercial tug basin, in front of the Lakeshore Fish Co. plant. |
