Arthur M. Anderson in the Rouge River turning basin.  She has just departed Severstal in Dearborn, MI with a load of mill scale for Gary, Indiana and is going down the Rouge River.

American Republic up the Wyandotte Channel of the Detroit River, turning just before Mud Island, to go into the main channel of the Detroit River. 

American Republic unloading coal at The Detroit Edison Trenton Channel Power Plant in Trenton, MI.  This is at the end of the Trenton Channel of the Detroit River.
