6/14 - Peter (former Peter R. Cresswell) Scrap Tow, Sorel - Lorraine Morrill

The scrap tow of Peter R Cresswell (renamed Peter). The tug VB Hispania was on the bow and the Jarrett M on the stern.

The F.M. Osborne making its final trip across the Grand River with the help of a tug, the week of June 13th. The Carmuse lime plant is seen in the background.

The F.M. Osborne being cut up for scrap. It appears the aft section is only held in place by the keel, as the entire starboard side has been cut away. Taken June 21st.

Draken Harald Hårfagre in the old Port of Montreal Marina.
The Draken Harald Hårfagre is a replica Viking ship that sailed across the North Atlantic this spring and will spend the summer visiting North American ports. It is currently in Montreal, with the next stop scheduled to be Toronto on or before July 1.
