the Salt Dock at 1412 & are anchored near Recors, MI.
3) The CSL TADOUSSAC, bound for Duluth, MN, was at X-32 at 1344 & was due at
the Salt Dock at 1524.
4) Lovely steamer HALIFAX, bound for Toledo, OH, was at the SE Shoal at 1333.
5) The JOHN J. BOLAND, bound for Marquette, MI, was at Grassy at 1832 & is due
at the Crib at 2042.
6) The AMERICAN REPUBLIC, bound for Duluth, MN with coal from Toledo, OH, was
outbound Toledo at 1606 & is due at Det R Lt around 1800. Tug CAROLYN HOEY &

24) Lovely steamer AMERICAN VALOR arrived at U.S. Steel on the face of Zug
Island at 1730 to unload taconite from DM&IR in Two Harbors, MN. She’ll be
there 6 hrs, then will head up to Northshore Mining in Silver Bay, MN in
ballast. She’ll be stopping at Shell for fuel.
25) The ALGORAIL, bound for the Osborne Salt Dock in the Rouge with salt from
Goderich, ON, is inbound the Rouge with assistance from tug WYOMING.
26) Tug PETITE FORTE & barge ST. MARY’S CEMENT are at St. Mary’s Cement in the
Rouge. Their ETD is 1400 tomorrow.
27) Tug SEA EAGLE II & barge ST. MARY’S CEMENT II, bound for St. Mary’s Cement
in the Rouge with cement products from Bowmanville, ON, arrived at the Ojibway
Anchorage in Windsor, ON at 1724.
28) Tug ANNIE M. DEAN was at Canadian/Ojibway Salt in Windsor, ON, but is now
back at the Dean Yard in LaSalle, ON.
29) USACE tug DEMOLEN & crane barge were at Fort Wayne, but are now back at
their dock at BASF in Wyandotte, MI.

1026. She stopped at Imperial for fuel.
2) The ALGORAIL, bound for Goderich, ON, was at the Salt Dock at 1235.
3) Lovely steamer AMERICAN FORTITUDE, bound for Calcite, MI in ballast, was at
the Salt Dock at 1510. She stopped at Shell for fuel.
4) Lovely steamer KAYE E. BARKER, bound for Marquette, MI, was at the Salt
Dock at 1625.
5) Plucky PETER R. CRESSWELL, bound for Bruce Mines, ON in ballast, was at the
Salt Dock at 1820. She departed St. Mary’s Cement in the Rouge after
unloading slag from Sault Ste. Marie, ON at 1041. She stopped at Sterling

head to Calcite, MI in ballast.
20) Tug PETITE FORTE & barge ST. MARY’S CEMENT arrived at St. Mary’s Cement in
the Rouge at 1214 for 30 hrs.
21) Tug EVERLAST & barge NORMAN McLEOD, eventually bound for Sarnia, ON,
arrived at the Ojibway Anchorage in Windsor, ON at 1615 until 0100 tomorrow.
22) Tug ANNIE M. DEAN has been going back & forth between Canadian/Ojibway
Salt in Windsor, ON & the Dean Yard in LaSalle, ON all day. She is now in
LaSalle.
23) USACE tug DEMOLEN & crane barge were working in the lower Livingstone
Channel at DL 15, but are now back at their dock at BASF in Wyandotte, MI.
