Colonial Steamships Ltd. changed company name to Scott Misener Steamships Ltd. in 1959. On October 15, 1973 the SCOTT MISENER (3) struck bottom near Whaleback Shoal on the St. Lawrence River damaging sixty bottom plates. The ship proceeded to Port Arthur Shipyard for dry docking and repairs from October 20 - 28th.
