About the Authors
Wayne Farrar lives in Niagara Falls, Ontario and has been a professional photographer for 35 years. About 20 years ago he was asked by Misener Shipping to take some pictures of their ships. Since then he has work for ULS, ALGOMA and CSL photographing many of their vessels from the air.
Early in the spring this year Roger and Wayne discussed the possibility of doing a book on the conversion of the CANADIAN EXPLORER and the HAMILTON TRANSFER, a unique conversion as this is the first time a Bulker and a Self-unloader have been joined to make a new ship. What you see here is part of the material being collected fot this book. New material will be posted each week until the CANADIAN TRANSFER sails on it first voyage.
