NOTE: In the 50 or so years that the Free Press carried the Welland Canal passages, this is one of the largest lists I've seen yet. It tells a lot about lower lakes commerce at the season and time. Trade onto Lake Ontario must have been lucrative, indeed, for so many vessels to run up light.
