Grand Prize is a trip for 4 to take place during the 2008 sailing season between the months of June and September on the Edward L. Ryerson*

If you are the winner, you and three friends will cruise on a four to six day voyage aboard the Ryerson. While onboard you will rest comfortably in private staterooms and view the scenery from the guest lounge. Proceeds from the raffle go to benefit BoatNerd.Com.

Departure port and dates will be coordinated with the winner. To purchase a ticket aboard a Great Lakes cruise ship like the C. Columbus, you can pay over $4,000 per person. This trip on is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity to cruise on a working freighter in the summer of 2008.

Trips onboard a working freighter are only available to the shipping companies customers. The only way for the general public to take a cruise on a working Great Lakes freighter is through a raffle.

Winner must be flexible concerning scheduling and port of departure/return. Guests must be over 18, have a valid passport and are required to adhere to all company polices and safety procedures. Trip is nontransferable.

Donation: $10 (U.S.) per ticket - 3 for $25 - 6 for $50 - 14 for $100

Drawing will take place at 2 p.m. on June 7, 2008 at the BoatNerd.Com World Headquarters at the Great Lakes Maritime Center, at Vantage Point, in Port Huron, MI.
Your ticket(s) will be promptly mailed to you. Winners need not be present at drawing to win and will be notified by mail and/or phone.

Deadlines - In person purchases will be accepted until 1:00 pm on the day of the drawing.
