Charity Auction for a Trip on The
Saginaw - Terms & Conditions
The Saginaw crew will be pleased to have you aboard for a lake trip. The
following is a brief description:
- The trip may begin at a Lake Superior, Lake Erie, Detroit River, St. Clair River,
Welland Canal or Lake Ontario port. The exact
departure port will be determined at a later date.
- Because these are commercial vessels, the actual arrival and departure dates and times
may vary.
- As a commercial fleet our vessel boarding procedure is via a 45 foot "Fireman
Type" ladder. The ability to negotiate this ladder is mandatory.
- You, and your party, will be required to sign a Passenger Release form before you sail.
- Because of customer demand, trips often do not end in the same port as they begin. We
will try to keep this to a minimum but cannot guarantee the loading port or unloading port
will remain definite. Should this occur, we will assist with return travel arrangements
but cannot compensate passengers for additional travel expenses.
-
Transportation to and from vessel not included.
- You must keep your schedule very flexible.
- The length of the voyage will be approximately seven days.
- This trip is for two people aged 21 and over, in good health.
- This trip is only for the 2006 or 2007 season. The trip may be taken between the months of June
and September. Every effort will be made to accommodate the passenger's desired date for
the trip but no guarantees can be made.
- Trip is non-transferable.
- Passengers will be served meals in the officers' dining room. All food and beverages are
included.
- The uniform of the day is "casual".
- With permission of the ship's Captain, passengers will be shown all areas of the vessel.
- In case of a tie for the highest bid, the earlier bid wins.
