It’s official: Algoma latest is now Algoluna

The Algoma Central Corp.’s newest vessel has had her name painted on the hull while moored at Sarnia, ON. The formerly Norwegian-flagged product/chemical tanker Birgit Knutson, purchased last year by Algoma, is now the Algoluna. See images in the photo gallery.

                              Seaway lists closing dates

The Montreal- Lake Ontario portion of the Seaway will close January 5. The Welland Canal to be clear by January 7. Read the Seaway notice in the gallery below.
