Edgar B. Speer Gets New Engines

Workers at Bay Shipbuilding Co., Sturgeon Bay, WI, were busy Tuesday hoisting the Edgar B. Speer’s new engines on to the ship. She is being repowered by two MAK 2 MAN 6L48/60CR diesels which will deliver 19,310 bhp. More photos in the gallery (click on the headline above to access images).
