The Algoma Central Corp.’s website vessel listing now includes Kaministiqua, Robert S. Pierson and Saginaw, purchased earlier this year from Lower Lakes Towing. Not included are Michipicoten (laid up at Superior) and Valo (American Valor, in long-tern layup at Toledo). This lends credence to the expectation that both vessels will be sold, most likely for recycling. There is no indication that the Saginaw (laid up at Sarnia) is preparing to sail any time soon.
